    On Liveheats, a Series represents a relationship between multiple Events and can be used for Rankings or Membership. This article describes how to create and edit series into groups so they can be navigated to with ease on both your director Ranking & membership page and your public rankings page, and also how to ungroup/delete any existing series groups.   • Creating a new series for rankings
    On Liveheats, a Series represents a relationship between multiple Events and can be used for Rankings or Membership. This article describes how to create a Series for rankings.   • Setting top counting results for rankings
    With LiveHeats you can set the number of counting results that determine the ranking. For example, your series might contain 8 events, but each athlete's top 6 results count towards their ranking.   • Adding, hiding or removing an event from the rankings

  • Display additional athlete or team field on rankings
    LiveHeats allows you to create Custom fields that are relevant to your competition - for example, state, nationality, stance, gender, and so on. We also allow you to choose to display a field on your rankings.   • Increasing or decreasing the rankings point weighting for an event
    LiveHeats allows you to increase or decrease the weighting or points allocation of an event in your rankings with our Ranking points multiplier feature (formerly the leaderboard multiplier). This is useful for events such as double points events - or different levels of events in a series (e.g. 1 star, 2 star, 3 star).     You can export any series ranking to csv to analyse or use in any spreadsheet software.   • Deleting a series
    If you have created a series and no longer need it, it can be deleted. You should only delete series if you are certain you no longer need the rankings or members within the series.   • Running a rolling ranking
    Some organisers run a rolling ranking which involves setting a time window and then results from events run within that time window count towards the ranking. For example your rolling rankings might look at the previous 52 weeks of events. Once an event's start date falls outside the previous 52 weeks, then that result automatically drops out of the ranking. HoFew readers
  • Publishing your event result to the federation's rankings

    Organisers often have athletes competing in events within a Series who are not eligible to receive points for rankings.     A 'fixed filter' will automatically only include athletes from a series ranking based on a certain athlete field (these can be created using custom fields).
