Liveheats now offers an automated siren audio that can sound at your event via a speaker connected to a laptop phone or tablet, so athletes and spectators know when heats start and finish.

How to use Liveheats' digital heat siren audio

Setting up siren audio at your event

1. Open the Liveheats event dashboard as a director on a device such as a laptop, phone or tablet
2. Connect the device to your beach speaker system via aux cord or Bluetooth:

3. To test the siren, On the event remote where you start and end heats, click the elipsis menu (three dots), and click Manual siren (1 honk):

Using the siren audio at your event

1. 1. After testing, ensure the device connected to the speaker is unlocked and has no sleep timer set. The device must have the browser page open for the audio to sound
2. Unmute the audio by clicking on the audio icon:

3. When you start the heat, a 1-honk siren will sound
4. When there's 5 minutes remaining, there will be a jingle
5. When the timer reaches 00:00, a 2-honk siren will sound
