In age divisions, you might like to enable restrictions so that athletes can only register for their eligible division based on their date of birth (DOB)

LiveHeats allows you to set a maximum, and/or minimum date of birth for each division.

How to set age restrictions on registration

1. Go to the Event settings and click the Entry restrictions tab
2. Scroll down to the Division eligibility rules area and click the + icon next to the Division that requires the age restriction

3. Click the Age option from the list

4. Once clicked,  you can create a rule for a division, including:

• minimum age, and/or
• maximum age;
• by a specific date

5. You don't have to enter a minimum  and a maximum - but you need to enter at least one
6. Click Update to add the restriction, and then click Save at the bottom of the Entry restrictions tab

7. During registration, your athletes will now see the following style messages if they do not fit the age requirements for the division:
