Joining a federation on LiveHeats as a child account

If your organisation is part of a federation that uses LiveHeats' federation model solution, please follow this guide for joining the federation's account on LiveHeats.


Note: this guide is written for the child organisation's themselves. If you are the parent organisation and wish to add your child organisations to LiveHeats yourself, please contact us at community@liveheats.com.



What happens once we join a federation on LiveHeats?


  • Your organisation appears in the federation's public directory, for example:

  • You will have access to the parent organisation's custom fields
  • Athletes in your organisation's database will be available for other child organisations to add to their events
  • Athletes in your organisation's database will appear on the Athletes & teams area of your parent organisation (they will not appear in the other child organisation's Athletes & teams area



How do we join the federation on LiveHeats?


  1. Firstly be sure to note down the public url (e.g. www.liveheats.com/surfingnsw), of:
  • the parent organisation (e.g. the national or world federation you are joining on LiveHeats)
  • your own organisation. Note: you can find them in our directory here: www.liveheats.com/organisations
  1. Fill in the details into this form: https://forms.clickup.com/26411634/f/t60kj-3302/782PA7BT957XWQPSCF
  2. We'll then add your federation account and let you know once set up
