How to score a heat or run when Score anywhere mode is enabled

The Score anywhere scoring method is for events where a recorder or tabulator can score any division’s heat or run at any time via the Draw tab in each division. It is the default setting in Surf Life Saving and Freeride Ski & Snowboard. If you're in an eligible sport, you can see this article for how to turn this setting on.

How to score a heat or run in Score anywhere mode

Go into a division locate the draw and click on the header of any heat/run

Once you select "Start" to begin the heat, the recording screen will appear

You will then be able to record scores/places by multiple different options which include, typing them in, "Filter and place" & "Scan to record" for our Surf Life Saving sports

Once you are finished recording, and only, then select "End and confirm".
