Determining which series is used for seeding

When you use our Rankings feature, LiveHeats will automate the seeding of your events within that series.

If your events have been added to more than one series (for example, your event might be set to part of the National rankings and your State rankings), you can easily select which Series' rankings will provide seeds. Below describes how.

How to determine which Series' seedings are used in an event

When creating a new event:

1. When you've added more than one Series to an event, a field will appear on the Create event form that reads Seeding comes from
2. Select which series you wish the seeding to come from, and click Continue:

When adding to an existing event

1. When you've added more than one Series to an event, a field will appear in the Event settings > Basic form that reads Seeding comes from
2. Select which series you wish the seeding to come from
3. Scroll to the bottom of your Event settings and select Update event:
