Automatically excluding athletes from a ranking based on age

In some organisations, only athletes within a certain age range should appear in the rankings. For example, a Junior ranking, or a Masters ranking.

Note: Our age filter setting allows you to only include athletes in a ranking who are of a certain age. Once the athlete reaches the age, they will automatically appear in the ranking - this means its better for an ongoing rolling ranking. If you'd like to instead always exclude athletes from a ranking due to their age at the time of competing (e.g. they were U18 in 2022 so they would not be in the 2022 open rankings), please contact community@liveheats.com

How to omit athletes from a ranking based on age

  1. Once you have created the Series that contains the ranking
  2. Contact community@liveheats.com and let us know:
  • the name of your organisation
  • the name of the series
  • the ages bounds (can be upper and lower bounds or just an upper or lower bound). For example, must be at least 18 to appear in the open rankings
  1. We'll activate this for you and let you know when ready
