Appointing Team managers to teams in your organisation [BETA]

In some events, entries are handled and managed by a Team manager on behalf of the competitors. Examples would be a National Surfing Championships where entries are managed by each State, or a Surf Life Saving competition where entries are managed by a club.


LiveHeats has developed a new tool that allows an Organisation's Director to appoint Team managers to the teams in their organisation. Once set, a Team manager will be able to edit/manage the entries for all athletes & teams that belong to that team in any current or future events that the team competes in.

How to appoint a Team manager to a team in your organisation


  1. Once logged in as a Director, navigate to the Athletes & teams area and click the Teams tab:

  1. This list will display any Team that appears in any event in your organisation. You might see some Teams that aren't currently used - these are from historic events in your account. Soon, we'll add a way for you to archive these.
  2. Click on the Team that you'd like to appoint a team manager to:

  1. Click Add manager and enter the Team manager's details:

  1. Click Add and they'll be added as a Team manager for that team and will receive an email. They'll now be able to manage the entries for any Athlete or team that represents that Team in current or future events in your organisation:

  1. If you wish to remove a team manager from a particular club please select Remove X to ensure they are no longer a team manager. 

Note: This will remove them as a team manager across the entire federation
