To add or remove an athlete from a heat that has not started yet, follow these steps.

How to add an athlete to an upcoming heat

1. Go to the  Division via the  Event dashboard
2. Here you'll see the heat draw
3. If there's an empty spot in the heat, go ahead and add the athlete directly into it. If there's no empty spot in the draw just click the  Add athlete icon at the top of the heat to create a new spot
4. Now, enter the athlete's name into the empty spot. If they exist in your database you can select them, or create a new athlete if they are not
5. Now they'll be in the heat. If you need to add information like Bib number or Team, head to the Seed list to do this

How to remove an athlete from an upcoming heat

1. Go to the  Division via the  Event dashboard
2. Here you'll see the heat draw
3. Click on the trash can icon next to the athlete to remove them

Note: this does not remove the athlete from the Seed list, so if you redraw the heats it'll add them back in. If you redraw the heats, be sure to remove the athlete from the seed list, as well
